Wet, Muddy & Breezy meets Ice.

Busy day today! Despite the weather we still had three groups out on our Sunday Club Runs!

Our Wee & Middle Ring groups ended up in Stewarton via Torranyard where Andy peeled off early to go and take part in the Rouken Glen CX event. After a cafe stop at the always-awesome Jacks in Stewarton they headed back to base in conditions described as 'wet, muddy and breezy'.

Meanwhile, our Big Ring group set off towards Whitelee Windfarm but found that ice soon became an issue.  Decision was made to head for Stewarton via the lower Dodside Road and then back to Newton Mearns via the A77 route. They headed into the west end of the city centre for a few hills (including Gardner Street) where Sam and Anael upped the ante and showed us what they're really made of, sprinting up the hills!! These guys are ones to watch folks!!  Cafe stop was at Siempre Bicycle Cafe before rolling home via the Clyde Tunnel.

All in all a great day's cycling was had - and that's not including our presence and results from Rouken Glen today.
