About Paisley Velo Cycling Club

Paisley Velo Cycling Club is club full of enthusiastic cyclists, who participate in all forms of cycling. The club has members of all abilities and new members are always welcome to join us.

The club meets for a Club Run on Sunday, which is designed to cater for all members, regardless of their ability. These runs are designed to be social runs, allowing our members the chance to catch up, discuss the world and get a few miles in while they are at it. There might even be an all important stop for some coffee and a cake!

Our club runs can be catered to suit all. We can offer runs for those who are new or returning to the sport, or those who are pressed for time. We can also provide longer runs, as required by club members.

The Club also offers specific training on week nights. During the winter months, we arrange indoor turbo training /spin session sessions. During the lighter nights, we have structured training to improve general fitness and cycling abilities.

The Club also allows members to try other disciplines of cycling, be it track on the velodrome, cyclo-cross, mountain biking or time-trialling. The Club will encourage all members wherever possible.

Paisley Velo Cycling Club is affiliated to CTT (Cycling Time Trials) which means any of our members can take part in their time trials.  In addition, we have a series of confined to club events. This includes our club time trial championship, hill climbing championship, and also excursions to various parts of Scotland, where we can socialise as well as cycle together.

If you are interested in joining, you can email us at  members@paisleyvelo.co.uk

All new members are more than welcome and our existing members are always happy to see new faces.
